I bought one of the rejects once. $20, "no probs". The guy was happy as...
It cost me $70:
* $20 for him
* $20 for the gun dealer (private sales have to be 'brokered')
* $30 for the police permit
-----
$70
=====
The firearm was a reject for a reason. It was a 60-odd year old .22
single-shot bolt-action Cooey (I thought it was a Winchester), rusted to
buggery inside & out. It seemed safe to shoot so I fired the muck out of it
rather than clean it. After roughly five shots it proved itself to be a fine
club.
Cheers,
Paul.
