Wise up!  If this happened to one of my birds, I'd immediately realise that
the original sick bird had succumbed and shuffled off this mortal plain.
Your S.O. or someone else who cares for you found the corpse and has
gone out to the nearest pet shop and bought you a new bird the same
colour but it's a baby.
