Hehe.. I know that feeling. First phone bill was $400 :-). ATDT'ed every
moment I was breathing. Then, it lost its novelty and became a chore.

I hate the 'net culture, where people tell other people to RTFM, and stuff.
Packet is beginning to be destroyed by a select number of people, especially
in VKNET. There's a whole new hate-mail bulletin area HATE@VKNET and,
even worse, expressing hate to a single person by many people.. A new
JOE@VKNET.
Sad that one can be so foolish to destroy their own network. I'm planning
to create a new network, an international packet mail network, running
TCP/IP, at 9600bps on the subnet arbn.ampr.org. The net will be moderated
to the max, and those wishing to destroy the network will be kicked out,
after a concencus of 15 SysOps.
Its the last thing I can do to save the packet system. Get some speed into
it, and also inject some common sense into it.
btw: expletives are illegal under our licenses, so you see all of these
filtered messages, looking like "I COULDN'T GIVE A BLOMEN" :-)
What more can I say,
73's.
