I have two teacher friends who both work for LA school district were
impressed by the TOTAL packages offered by La Quinta -- apparently there
are TONS of fringe benefits and NO loss of retirement. (Apparently the
offers are heavily biased in favor of more experienced teachers, though
they have such population growth here they're hiring almost any decent warm
body....)
