Dick Smith Electronics in Australia has a wonderful mail order
service. Check www.dse.com.au for the online catalogue, probably
an online ordering service as well.

Their 2002-2003 catalogue shows a 5mm, 8000 mCd white LED, part
number Z3982, at $9.95 Aus, about $6 US at the current exchange
rate.
