I don't know that he's particularly wrong.  I have found some of the
questions I've been asked in the guard very troubling.  I missed the
questionare about shooting on unarmed american citizens, but the very
existance of it disturbs me.
It's also disturbed me that so often in training sessions and such it is
suggested and commented that our oath may necessitate the firing on of
citizens.  That we may have to defend the constitution from Joe Q
public.  That disturbs me.
It also disturbs me that more and more our training missions were
shifting away from bases and into public sectors.  Simulated gun runs on
Ocean City and Baltimore are the norm now.  Not military target areas.
That disturbs me.
For all this is steadily bringing our military into a state of
comfortable willingness to fire on american citizens.  I find this
highly disturbing and deeply troubling.  For I don't think this an
accident.
