As you may have heard, he is now dead and 6 others are in jail for criminal
assistance. He tried to sneak up on a Seattle police officer who was doing
a routine check on the vehicle Clemmons stole just a few minutes earlier.
The officer recognized him immediately and ordered him to show his hands.
When Clemmons went for his waist band, the officers took it upon himself to
add several ounces of lead weight to Clemmons' body.
