No.  When I ran windows 2k, Ele/32 (version 9 something) I had well over 100
doors working with out issue. And you have to remember you have to have
users to get all the doors running at the same time. But I have had 9 people
playing on the old system with out an issue. 

Your Dos idea is nice but the end result is what the user see's You could
set up your dos bbs, go through all the trouble and hassle, and then telnet
into it. At the same time you could telnet into a XP bbs with the same
number of doors and much less setup time and MUCH more features (email, web
page, ftp server, News server, ect) and I bet you (as a user) you would not
notice the difference.
