KJ>I heard AIE was having problems because of that incident. It's too bad
KJ>when folks have to drag the sysops into personal problems. I have no
KJ>idea what happened w/Barbara, and I won't speculate. I just wish she'd
KJ>straighten out the mess.
Well, fortunatly, Marion did get her check back, with a 24 page
letter, so it ended happily I guess.
KJ>And I REALLY hope it doesn't mess up the Parrot Echo--we who don't
KJ>personally know either party have no reason to take sides in anything
KJ>that goes on between two people outside of this echo, and it shouldn't
KJ>affect how we see the echo.
I hope not, I believe Marion just didn't want to see anyone else take
a beating, especially involving such a chunk of money. As for AIE,
that's not quite what made their board drop off. There's a free
e-mail service called Juno, and most of us started using that, to chat
about birds, personal stuff, or whatever came up, wich is something we
couldn't do freely on AIE, not to mention what most of the people are
saving on LD charges.
