Anyways, I marked this as pulic so anyone may answer...
I have an '88 Chrysler Daytona 2.5 TBI.. It seems to be very
sluggish.. Someone told me that it's because of the small engine
and fairly heavy car.. no, not sluggish.. gutless... I have
already put in new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, reset the timing (I
had to do a head gasket anyway), fuel filter, scanned it for codes
also a sensor check and fuel pressure is at 20psi at idle.. it
doesn't drop fuel pressure when at WOT either... Air filter is new
also.. O2 sensor is switching between rich & lean constantly when
idling, but I couldn't try it on the road because the cables on the
scanner are not long enough, but I am assuming that the sensor is
Okay.. When I pulled the old plugs, they were nice & tan coloured,
no build-up, no blisters... any ideas where to go next?
