I've seen Max Baucus on the Senate floor, at the podium, speaking, on the
Senate channel. I've also seen Max Baucus performing on various televised
Senate committee hearings and/or meetings in which he spoke.


The claim that Max Baucus `talks like that all the time' is a load of hogwash,
pal! He doesn't! I've seen him read out loud some pretty complicated pieces of
legislation couched in legalese, and he read them out without any of the
slurring and verbal stumbling I saw in the video a day or so ago.
