UM?, I don't remember a debate on this topic in this echo, just a simple
question from a citizen that I attempted to answer. I believe there was a
debate on this topic in ASKACOP2 some time ago, but this continues to be a
question of interest to many citizens. BTW, are the mental midgets lined up
so that you can count them easily? You might also want to consider that when
the crap is hitting the fan on the street that an officer can require
assistance from a citizen. An understanding on the citizens' part that this
assistance is mandatory may prevent a debate between mental midgets on the
street when lives are at stake. If police officers refuse to share
information such as this with the public, it would appear that the officers
would be the mental midgets. You would be surprised how many good citizens
are willing to help an officer when the crap hits the fan, with or without
their knowledge of laws pertaining to civic duty. What amazes me is the level
of your anger over such a simple question. One of the primary purposes of
this echo is citizens asking questions and officers providing answers.
