Patch Level 7 for 0.93
----------------------

Patch Level 7 for WaterGate version 0.93 is now available! The archive is
called wg093p7.zip (90Kb) and can be picked up from the usual places.

It should be available at:

It should be available at the other sites within a few days. More sites
are listed in getnew.txt in the wg093.zip distribution archive.

The patch fixes a number of bugs, as follows:

* CHARSET (and variants) kludge without the number after the character
   set name was not supported properly.

* Origin without tear-line caused the SEEN-BY and PATH lines to end
   up as body text. Origin without tear-line is now supported.

* Fixed a problem with the POP3 separator. When the prefix "*" was
   used to suppress the check for an empty line before the separator,
   then the space post-fix was not checked for, causing "*From" to
   trigger on the "From:" header as well.

* All inbound processing now adds a backslash to the path when not
   present in the configured path.

* Import FastEcho config only supported 344 areas and had problems
   with the area type when the Origin number was set > 0.

To upgrade, you need to have version 0.93.p6 installed.

Development Update
------------------

Development of the new version 0.94 is picking up speed again after my
marriage, honeymoon and moving into a new house with a demanding garden..
It's getting winter now, so garden work is starting to get out of the
question, in advantage of the computer ;);)

All problems I fix these days are followed by an addition to the automatic
test system, which makes sure bugs do not pop up again. The system has
already proven itself useful once!

Have fun with the patch and let me know when there are urgent problems
left to fix in 0.93 so I can release a p8 if required.
