I have a PC Personal Animation Recorder (PAR) The system uses a 
dedicated IDE hard drive and motion JPEG compresses the individual 
frames of your animation to the HD. The compression ratio is abt. 10-11 
to 1. The system outputs composite S-Video and Component Beta SP or MII.
The system will easily hold 20+ minutes of animation.
