BB} Well, that show did tremendous amounts of good, and tremendous
BB} amounts of Bad, for EMS.
BB} It did help to raise public awareness, in EMS and it's people.
BB} It helped also, however, to glorify the field, sending scads of
BB} people to sign up for EMT classes.
BB} Too many people, has hurt the field greatly.
Thats a rather interesting view of that show... I never thought of that
show actually _hurting_ emergency services like that...
Not to show my age to much, but when I was a kid that was my FAVORITE
show... I'm a First Responder now with Red Cross Disaster Services in
Northeast Indiana (I was an EMT in the Army in NC)...  I'd have to say
that that show DID influence me towards what I've become in my life...
I must say, that's a VERY interesting opinion...
