Yes, I know, & very very well, too. [In case you've missed Jim
Buntjer's periodic post of echosian birthdays (or any of my many &
multitudinous posts on the subject over the years here ), being
a creaky 45 "I'm a 'Day One' Trek Fan." ] Basically, in brief,
to sum up my one-trick-pony comments over the years, I always make
note of the fact that the term was in use at *least* back in the
early 70's, which is the earliest I can say I recall it & still be
honest. (You may've noticed a number of wet-behind-the-ears
knowitalls claiming the word's a recent invention. )
