Hi Rob Dennis, hope you are having a nice day
RD> I was VERY lucky to not lose any of the files I have posted here
RD>recently as well as I had yet to make a recent backup of them.
I recently spent three weeks rebuilding my drive manually after
a hardware bug blew the partition and made the fats look like
random number tables. The backup I had turned out to be 4mo. old
and not 1mo. like I thought. I got lucky and only lost 5 or 6
files, but whatta mess. (the things you can do with norton
diskedit, a gross of pepsi, jolt, dr. pepper, and hot fries) ;>
As for those files that you posted, with me being a bit of
a mail packrat, I believe I have 3 or 4 copies of everything
posted in old mail packets on tape. (got archives over 1yr old)
RD> Lesson learned.
Same here. Full backup once a month (twice if I remember)
and a weekly (or twice weekly iir) incremental.
