Can anyone help me.  I read all the docs that come with Arachne
and it's programs.  But I can't get the sucker to work.

I've got Arachne to dial my ISP and pass my user ID and password
correctly.  I then have Arachne pass the letters "PPP" to the
server when the prompt appears.  I then get the dialog on the
screen that says:

Leaving MINITERM and trying SLIP/PPP. Press + ...

  then after 30 - 40 seconds I get the following:

PPP link is down, driver not installed.

What am I not doing correctly.  As I said, I've read the docs
over and over but can't find the problem.  Can anyone help?

Sometimes I get just raw binary back from my ISP server instead
of the usual "Username" and "Password" when I use autologin.

I'd really like to get this program working.  I've also tried to
get Nettamer to work, but can only get my userid passed through
the script but then it all hangs on the "password" part.

Thanks to any soul that can help me or point me in the right
direction.
