Hello alexander!
03 Oct 17 10:27, you wrote to me:
ak>>> In Holland they they prefer marijuana. ;-)

KE>> Who knows?. But please extend "Holland" to "The Netherlands"
KE>> Holland is just the western part that was later splitted into
KE>> a northern and a southern province.
ak> Thank you for the information. Just for information - in Russia we think
ak> that both names mean the same country.
I know and I donnot make a big point of it. And in previous centuries Holland
was more prolific than the rest of the country.
ak> Probably as you think that all
ak> people in Russia are Russians.
Even worse, in the past we called, all inhabitants of the USSR, Russians.
ak> PS: I can add that in the Russian language a woman can marry only a
ak> man
ak> and the female variant of the verb says it. Vice versa with the male
ak> variant of the verb. But in English there is no difference who marries
ak> whom. That's why Google translated both Russian verbs in one English
ak> verb and my words in Russian were unclear.
I know ther are always difficulties when you want to translate from one
language to another. The meaning of words never overlap 100%.
Often this leads to severe misunderstandings.
