On or about: 02-18-08 05:45, Bob Ackley did engage James Bradley regarding, but not limited to: YooHoo to You... 2. BA>> Last spring (2007) I picked up a pickup box trailer for BA>> $20. Cost me $25 to get the flat BA>> tire fixed so I could tow it home. And another $75 or so BA>> to get the parts to fix the lights BA> on it. JB> Oh, hell... I'd have had you covered with the lights. BA> Shucks, I probably could've got generic light assemblies that would've BA> worked from O'Reilly's for about $20, but I wanted to use BA> the factory fixtures. BA> Found them on a dead pickup in my favorite auto-parts BA> graveyard and found brand BA> new plastic lenses (for a 1975 vintage truck) on the BA> Internet. Those red plastic BA> lenses were the expensive part at $51 for two. Ya, the factory lenses would have been a tough one, but I do have a couple of trailer light packages that are the bolt on kind. (Auction find) Liquidation world had boxes of Radio Shack red LEDs on sale though. THose would have been interesting signal/stop lights on a '75 vintage trailer. Bring it up, if you want to use a HVLP gun to spray it down with paint. ...
