subject: timed for unix

Hi Gerrit,

I'm writing this with Oliver Grimm's UNIX port of timEd. He's done a lot of work!

Interestingly, he got it to work with the Husky SMAPI, which means it
should work with XMSGAPI also, which should also make backporting to Win32,
OS/2, etc, far less difficult. It could also mean a UNIX version of
NetMgr is on the cards, but don't hold your breath.

Also, for Gord Hannah wanting AdeptXBBS message base support in timEd,
presumably this means all you need to do is convince someone to add the
code for that to the SMAPI (or XMSGAPI). But don't hold your breath for
that either, because the Husky guys still haven't got JAM support 100%
right yet. But things are looking up!

Regards
Andrew
