Well you start by asking all your customers what else they want, if you
don't get enough suggestions you work on making it more efficient, faster,
smaller, cheaper, more compatible, more standards, like the hardware guys
do.

Yeah, that was a really stupid move. What they should do if they want the
OS to be disposable like the hardware is make it cheaper. As computers have
gone down in price they have become disposable, many times it's easier or
cheaper to buy a whole new system than to upgrade one.
