Last year at this time, a local child abuse prevention
organization bought some cards from me to sell at
their "Children's Store" which is open from Sept.
or Oct. thru February. The store is used by a number
of non-profit organizations as a fund raiser.
Last year they bought 150 cards from me at $1.25 and
sold them for $3.50 each and ran out! So this year
they want to buy from me again. I told my brother
that my rates went up to $1.50 (the additional .50
is my donation because I believe in the cause.
So now it is just a matter of praying for the $25 that
I need for the card stock to make the cards. If I
wait until the last minute they wouldn't ever be done!
So please pray that God provides the money within the
next couple of weeks. Last year they wanted the cards
by the beginning or middle of September. I get paid
when they take possesion of the cards, but I honestly
don't know anyone local who could loan me the money.
I plan on asking my brother but I don't know that he
would be willing to do that for me.
This would definitely be a big help in paying some
bills, getting my prescriptions, and being able to
put at least half of the money back into my card
stock, envelopes, perhaps even a couple new stamps!
