Do I take it you didn't like Desperation?
As for The Green Mile, I just got it about a month ago, and I'm way behind in 
my SK reading, although I understand that Green Mile was originally a serial, 
written in King's early days, so I suspect it's probably a bit less polished 
that what we're used to today.
