They don't. They have another agenda. They think that they have a better idea 
and they want to impose their notion of the "right" way on all of us. In 
order to do that, they have to get our guns.
 
The law doesn't support them, so they write new laws claiming that it is "for 
the children". The statistics don't support their assertions, so they hire 
left wing researchers or force government employees to do biased studies that 
lie about the effects of guns on society. They demonize guns and their owners 
and schmooze the media into spreading their lies. And if you think that I'm 
being paranoid, just start digging around on the net and in the library. Do 
the reading and the research yourself. Don't take my word for it. It won't 
take long for you to find more poop than they pumped outa the johnnies at 
Woodstock.
