Forgive my being brash... but there is what claims to be a fido.aviation
newsgroup on the Internet, along with tons of other 'fido' conferences. They
never seem to have any traffic in them, except at one time I thought I had
seen Zone 1 traffic in some of the same named news groups...

Now as to the fido.aviation, I've never even seen an aviation message in the
thing until this one showed up..

Just for FUNZY, I think I'll post it here...

if only to see how the traffic count hits them from the
     'two' fido aviation echos!

GRIN. I bettum it's bigger from here, but I might lose.. :)

It will be interesting to see the reply profile here.

This usegroup, although heralding a FidoNet affiliation, to my knowledge
does not crosspost into the FidoNet Aviation Echo at all.

It is the first actual aviation oriented message I've ever seen in it
after watching it for months to see how the heck it got here, Bob.

As a favor to you, I'll cross post it by hand into the actual FidoNet
 Aviation echo.

It will be interesting to see the action between the two modes.. My
addresses at the bottom of this show two vectors. One is for the web
and one is an actual mail address that can be used on FidoNet,,
