Hi! Robert,

On 27 Oct 06 23:25, you wrote to me:

Where do you normally head off to for vacations? I realise that short
breaks may not give you much time for travelling, but if you do have the
time do you make a bee-line for the snow, or warmer climes?

Nope. Not me. If someone else is, then I'm not seeing it here. The echo
has been empty for over a week.

I have my own 'local' message area where those newsgate things go. I just
ran it here for a week like you agreed to. That's it.

Can't see a thing hereabouts. Hence, my question to you.

Damn and blast! What a bugger of a thing. I've had a couple of near
misses myself with this linux install, recently. Came close to stuffing
everything up, trying to make a dual-boot system between Win98 and linux.
I lost "it" for a small while, playing around with 'toys' such as
Fdisk, Format, Grub, Pdisk and GParted. For the space of about 2 minutes I
thought I'd lost 60+ gigs of data across 2 hard drives. I had my way in
the end. :)

Groovy. Next time.

Cheers,
Paul.

... It beeped and said "Countdown initiated". Is that bad?
