2GB is not the limit of most current machines. I've been seeing 4GB =
and 8GB for desktop machines for a while though 8GB is for higher end =
systems. 2GB may still be common for laptops.

Don't you find it funny how we used to argue about the 4mb mantra and =
how NT
would never be a desktop OS because it required 16mb and now you are =
asking
about using more than 2gb in a desktop? I would think 1or 2g should be
plenty for anything. Spend your money on fast disk instead.
