Fidonet's system of moderated echoes is far superior to the chaos
and nastyness that occurs on the internet. I decided a while back
that the internet was not worth the money. Who wants to pay for
access just to read a bunch of stupid flaming and spamming? There's
too much chaff and not enough wheat to make it worthwhile, in my
opinion.
On another note, I have had to push back my plans on getting a parrot.
I discovered my roof was in dire need of repair and the money I had
been saving up for the parrot has to go towards fixing the roof.
Figures.
