Today I was at my father-in-laws and had to use his laptop on dialup to =
do a quick check of the size of an inwall oven on the sears.com website.

As soon as I got online up pops a warning that my machine isn't up to =
date with patches, I clicked the X to get rid of it as I just wanted to =
do a quick check of dimensions and I know sygate will stop any worm =
attempts. Up pops another warning, I click the X again, up pops a reboot =
now question, I responded NO goddammit still trying to get to sears.com, =
but it's to damn slow because the machine is busy talking to some other =
servers, up pops another reboot message as it installs another patch and =
want's me to reboot and I click the X again. Then there was some other =
stupid bubble thing from the bottom right corner of the screen which I =
didn't even bother to read just clicked the X to close the damn thing.

I can't imagine vista being worse with popups... its like XP is infected =
with a popup generator so how could it be worse?
