    I'd be suprised if your Metro could handle a 100w transciever... they
pull about 20-24 amps at full power... probably OK as long as you don't plan 
on using your lights or AC at the same time.
    Buddy o' mine runs a TenTec Scout Mobile... up to 50 watts out in a
little Hyundai... works VERY nicely, he's been very satisfied. Also seen an
FT-7 Yaesu (25w, 10-80 minus WARC bands) mobile setup... not too shabby.
    What price range are you lookin' at?
