On one level ( a central update mechanism ) the tie in of Defender to WU
makes sense. Yet to use it one has to turn on updates and subject one's
computer to an unannounced WU update/reboot as happened this past week. It
just seems to me that antivirus/trojan signature files and such should be a
separate process
