I don't know of any software that saves your files before your machine shuts down.

Autocad does have an autosave feature, but it's on a timer and it doesn't
overwrite your drawing file, it saves to an autosave file. They came up
with that because it crashes a lot.

Pretty much anything else I use asks the user if they want to save before
shutting down.
