from the windowsupdate newsgroup ( just checked and it CANNOT be removed ).
I wonder why Microsoft's article ( review date April 26, 2006 ) is in
conflict with the truth?

In that MS Article:

 it says:

"You can uninstall Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications by using
Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.
                                                                  >>>

However, when I go into my Control Panel and highlight that WGA update, im told :

"This update cannot be removed"

Wondering  about this contradiction...
