subject: Another Bread Pudding recipe

Here is a variation to the bread pudding that I sent to you earlier.  When I
made the Bread Pudding with the Raisin Banana Bread I used Brown sugar and I
used normal sugar with the Bread Pudding out of the Bubble Cranberry Orange
bread.
MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Bread Pudding
 Categories: Desserts
      Yield: 6 Servings
 
      2 c  Milk
      2 c  Stale Oatmeal Raisin bread
           Recipe to follow
    1/4 c  Butter or margarine
      2 ea Eggs beaten
    1/3 c  Granulated sugar
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 ts Vanilla
      1 c  Raisins
    1/2 ts Cinnamon
 
  Measure milk into heavy saucepan.  Heat until almost boiling.  Add
  bread cubes and butter.  Remove from heat. Stir in eggs, sugar, salt,
  vanilla and raisins.  Add cinnamon or nutmeg. Turn into a casserole
  dish and bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes until set. Serve with
  cream or ice cream or Al's delicious idea Maple syrup. Variation use
  brown sugar instead of white. Variation For a less custardy pudding
  double the amount of bread. NB.  I used both variations and I
  preferred it that way.
  
  Variation: Use leftover Bubble Cranberry Orange Bread or leftover
  Banana Raisin Bread

MMMMM----------------------1 1/2 POUND LOAF---------------------------
    3/4 c  Plus 2 tb water
      3 c  Flour
    1/2 c  Mashed banana
      2 tb Packed brown sugar
  1 1/2 ts Salt
      1 ts Cinnamon
      2 ts Yeast
    1/3 c  Raisins
MMMMM------------------------2 POUND LOAF-----------------------------
      1 c  Water
      4 c  Flour
    2/3 c  Mashed banana
      2 tb Packed brown sugar
      2 ts Salt
      1 ts Cinnamon
      2 ts Yeast
    2/3 c  Raisins
MMMMM---------------------------GLAZE--------------------------------
    1/2 c  Powdered sugar
      1 ts Or 2 ts milk
           Dash of ground cinnamon
 
  Select Sweet or White cycle.  Place all ingredient in pan except
  glaze and raisins.  At beep add raisins.  Do not use delay cycles.
  Calories 150 0g of fat 2 gr of fiber. Note I do not use the glaze and
  this makes great french toast for your children.
