SA> Earlier this month, mobile tracking firm Xora showed off the latest
SA> version of its Nextel GPS (global positioning system) phone software.
SA> The company says 1,600 corporate customers have signed up for its
SA> services, including "geofences" technology that sets off an alarm at
SA> the office when field workers go to preprogrammed off-limits sites,
SA> such as a bar or a park.
Seems fair enough, eh? So long as the employees are notified of this tracking
ability/intent/restrictions? :)
Or are you of the mind that ALL such uses of technology are inherently wrong
and not to be used even for positive purposes?
