Why do you call him Joey? His name is Albert. Maybe people USED to call him
Joey, but to continue to call him that after he requests people not to is
being just as much of a jerk as people think HE is.

Looking at the replay, I see his arms about chest level, then during/just
after the collision, as he falls back, his arms come up. If he wanted to
really do harm, his arms would have been up about face level to start.
I believe the suspension was for seemingly telling Tavarez to "throw at his
head".

It's not unheard of, but you are correct, it is rare. I would expect that
Matt Methany has a pretty good case to get his suspension reduced (not
eliminated.) Belle (and others) has gotten a three game suspension rather
than five game suspension for charging the mound.
