Message-ID: I thought that this was the best PPV I've seen in quite a while. Even the barroom brawl was good comedy relief. Steph and Sable put on a much better match than I had thought that they could deliver. It was definitely not up to the current standards of RAW's women division, but Steph and Sable aren't wrestlers. Why wasn't Gowen booked to win? What was the point of Albert doing the run in? As GM, Steph can now fire or suspend him; I wonder whether that will enter the story line. Why couldn't they have booked the main event as a two-person match and let Angle and Lesnar give us a great match instead of the merely very good match we did get? I thought that the US Championship match would be too close to call, but I figured that it would go to Eddie for a number of reasons. 1) He's more charismatic than Benoit. 2) The WWE has a history of screwing Benoit out of titles. 3) The fan reaction last week. When Rhyno entered the ring, it was obvious that he would turn on Benoit. Kidman didn't turn on Rey as I had expected, but they didn't win the belt, as I also expected. -- Never play strip tarot. --- Internet Rex 2.29* Origin: The gateway at Swills (1:229/3000.1) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 229/3000 123/500 106/2000 633/267 |
