Sweden picked out a particular African country (Tanganyika? I forget. Some
place ruled by the same socialist guy for decades) to lavish aid on for
decades. Decades later it is one of the poorest countries in Africa. Why is
that? Could it be that the Swedish money helped prop up a completely stupid
way to run a country? Could it be that the effect of the Swedish money was
to perpetuate poverty?
