I was the driver,and I felt like I was going solo for the first time,
even though I've logged an hour or two.
He is a real gentleman,no halo,quiet and a little reserved but
once off the ground he opened up.
Later while sampling some good New Zealand beer,he was just one
of the boys,but I noticed the "boys" were unusually quiet,they
were quite content to listen and they seemed to have forgotten
most of their aviation tall tales ;-)
It was just marvelous to meet a legend.He will be back next year,
and I hope to get some video of him with my 'Moth.
If I ever sell it,"as flown by Chuck Yeager" should be worth at
least a few extra bucks......
