        No, actually the guy my old sponsor warned me about was at one time 
my 
        dope connection and as of two weeks ago is now (after 15 months in 
Z.
        State Prison) my sponsee.  I did tell him that I was not exactly      
   comfortable with the idea because of the fact that I didn't really want 
        to dwell alot on the past. (6 3/4 years ago for me)  But I told him   
      that if nothing else I would help get him started on the steps and if
        the idea of sponsoring him got to be too much that he should not be 
        disappointed if I should choose to back off and ask him to find 
someone
        else.
        I went this route with someone else I used with and it was not a good
        out come.  So I am still a bit leary of it.
