   I had not heard that, but it is an interesting thought.   There is a
   fairly close association of zones and continents, zone 1 and zone 2
   having exceptions (Mexico and Central America is in Zone 4 with the
   continent of South America.   I also believe that parts of zone 2 are
   in Asia.)
