Robert Rice was spouting off to Gord Dowling
about chemistry
when he said ...
RR> Retoric...!?!?!?!?....Thats funny....Hmmm....Well let's ask those of
RR> us who have been collecting overseas for astart ...I believe Sam
RR> Mcdaniel has on several occassions ..I have once the numbers I gave
RR> were probably lighter than what I saw ...As for book documentation
RR> there are very few books out there about collecting at all ..There was
RR> a nice documentary on the rainforest a few years back that showed some
RR> natives collecting neons......Any how if you will drop your bogus
RR> flameing language i will be glad to see if i can find some
RR> documents...Claiming I am full of retoric does nothing to endear you
RR> to me ....
It was not my intention to flame you. What I was trying to point out
was that your messages have been long on emotion and short on substantive
proof. I was asking for referances. If you have the numbers to put into
your message, you should be able to tell us were you got them from.
Your overall message of environmental reponsibility is important. I
lived next to a logging camp in the rainforests of Vancouver Island. I've
seen the destruction caused by bad cutting practices and the pollution
left by backrupt fishery plants.
Your message stated numbers implying that they were recent. Quotes
from a documentary that you saw three years ago and observances from
Dr. Axelrod's books which may have been published in the late fifties do not
aid your message.
... Say what you mean... Mean what you say.
