I called the local "toy store", and was told that, with the 2710 now 
available,
and with comparable Alinco radios selling new for just over $500, that $425 
would be reasonable.  Unfortunately, my wife nixed the idea.....   seems we
have some bills to pay off before I can buy any new (to me) toys.
I HATE when she does that!!!!!!
... The problem with political jokes is they get elected.
