Yes, I guess that's an option but I've always been one to fix the problem
not to use even more software to try and live with the problem because that
only leads to more problems (like if I were to end the program and I didn't
want to save the file because it would have overwritten the last good
version I had).

Makes more sense to me to do what he did and regain complete and total
control over his own computer.
