subject: LAN Server Entry

Hello Bryan,

Lan Server client licenses are approximately CDN $70 (about $US40). If you
purchase them, you will receive one or more pieces of paper entitling you to
use those licenses on your network. The exact number of licenses you actually
end up using is up to you, and enforcement of those licenses will also be up
to you.

Replying to a message of Bryan Rubingh to All:

BR> Can someone tell me what it would cost to add 10 users to an old (I
BR> think version 2, maybe 3) IBM LAN Server entry setup?

BR> I called IBM and they told me that since I was a reseller they
BR> couldn't tell me a price. Does IBM really want to sell their
BR> software or are they intentionally trying to kill themselves? My
BR> customer wants a price. Tell me it is a million dollars if you have
BR> to, but give me a price. Anyway, I called back again, was told there
BR> was a high volume of callers and they would call me back before the
BR> end of the business day. That was Thursday. It is now Tuesday. I
 BR> haven't heard from them.

 BR> Thanks,
 BR> Bryan Rubingh
