Actually, you won't believe this, but rexcfgl segfaults in much the same
way on my Linux box.  I should've checked this before, hmm!

Funny thing is, I seem to recall having it running under Linux at one stage.

The above does look a bit like the executable is trying to decompress
itself (or something like that).
