I knew it in advance.. I never figured on this kind of thing. Remember I've 
been using a Bosal for a lot of years. It's also the reason I've never used 
it on CJ..

Well Straw is a little bulldog.. His breeding is Quincey Dan. That's old 
bulldog type quarter horse. Lot's of muscle to deal with when he did this.. 
and he's a fast little bugger when he wants to be. :(

Well my right thigh has been the worst.. have a large knot where he kicked me 
on the way down.

Didn't happen.. was not really frightened at all.. although I get tense the 
first time he went for the fence and then I knew the game..  and thanks. ;)

Well not doing anything with him right now.. he also cracked a hoof at the 
hairline.. so we need to see what the shoer says about it... so that we don't 
get a sizeable piece off hoof coming off there.. that wouldn't be healthy. 
 
In fact I'm completely ignoring him.

Well he was put into the small pen for me and I dealt with him as soon as I 
could the same night. I then got on him and rode him bareback since I 
couldn't lift the saddle..
 
Ride CJ the night after.. but skipped last night then rode her again tonight.
Doing better.

Can't do that.. chuckle.. the kid wouldn't understand.  She got a full course
