       Welcome back. Klaus!  I followed your interesting exchange with
   Kathy on parrots in Germany when you first joined the ECHO.
       Since my subscription to BIRDTALK lapsed I haven't kept up on 
   this area.  Last I had read Ramon Noegel (and I believe another 
   fellow) in Florida was working on the breeding of the endangered 
   Amazons.  Which ones he has bred I couldn't say for sure.  There 
   was also I program in the works in Bahama to protect their native 
   bird.  I think it included captive breeding.  So I don't have more 
   info for you.
