Lots of the old time items going around.. But the old "sending him for a
bucket of Prop Wash" has not been seen for some time or a bit of "firing
line."
Reminds me of a time when a young CMTC cadet was sent
for the "Color Cases" as it looked like rain before retreat
parade. He thought it was another joke so went to his
tent and the "sack" instead.
It still rankles me to see these young media types using Tarmac and
incorrectly in most cases... Yesterday news on injuries from turbulence said
"17 of the injuries were treated on the tarmac...." I could visualize them
lieing out on a hunk of asphalt paving...
The USAF now has so many acronyms that I can not keep up with them... My
USAF dictionary (I have one) is 50 years out of date...
